We prepare our graduates for careers in which they will define, assess and solve our society's environmental and technological problems. We give them experiences that promote environmental and technological literacy and equip them to understand the connections between science, technology, society and the environment.
We do that with an interdisciplinary curriculum, connections to professional organizations, a strong system of industry-centered advisory boards and a variety of learning opportunities and experiences in the classroom, laboratory, field, internships and research.

Our faculty are actively involved with outreach projects both on and off campus including Project Lead the Way, MTEEA, ITEEA, Huskies Invent, Husky Make It Space, and the TEC Network.
The TEC Network is a combination of several related programs related to K-12 outreach and student opportunities outside the classroom.
